01
What is Warp

A new space for emerging artists — rooted in craft, textile thinking, and the belief that the foundation from which all new threads emanate is the most important thing of all. Not a commercial gallery. A programme.

02
The Opening

Thursday 4th June 2026 is the first public moment. An evening to meet Annie, see the space, and be present at the beginning of something genuinely new. Spaces are limited and by registration only.

03
The Foundation

Every great work begins with a single thread. The warp is the structure — the fixed, longitudinal foundation through which all other threads are woven. That's what we give artists. The warp.

Annie Sherburne · Founder
"The warp is the structure. Everything else is built upon it — every colour, every texture, every story. That's what I want to give to artists who are just beginning."
Annie Sherburne · Warp Gallery · 2026

What Warp
gives
emerging artists

The programme is built around one idea: great artists need more than a white wall. They need mentorship, space, context, and community. Warp provides all of it — from a foundation of genuine craft expertise.

I
Studio & Exhibition Space

Physical space to make, show, and develop work — built for experimentation, not just display.

II
Direct Mentorship

One-to-one guidance from Annie Sherburne — rooted in nearly five decades of practice.

III
Critical Framework

Structure, feedback, and intellectual rigour. Warp helps artists find the language for their own work.

IV
Collector & Industry Access

Introduction to collectors, curators, and the wider art ecosystem — building careers, not just portfolios.

V
Events & Talks

A rolling calendar of private views, talks, and collaborative projects — bringing community into each practice.

VI
Documentation & Legacy

Professional documentation from day one — provenance and record-keeping that matters.
